By using Scam Alert, you agree to these simple terms.
Scam Alert is a free awareness tool. It lets you check numbers against scam reports and report numbers that tried to scam you. It is not a bank, not a government service and not a law-enforcement agency.
Your report — including any screenshots you attach — is saved in the shared database and shown publicly to everyone who searches that number.
A number shown as "reported as scam" means a visitor reported it — it is a warning, not a final court verdict. A number with no report is not guaranteed safe. Always use your own judgment, and confirm with your bank through its official number before sending money.
Decisions you take after using this website — sending money, blocking a number, or anything else — are your own. We work hard to keep the tool useful and honest, but we cannot be responsible for losses that happen outside this website.
Contact your bank immediately and report the fraud to the FIA Cybercrime Wing. Do this quickly — speed matters in fraud cases.
These terms may be updated as the website grows. The date at the top will show the latest version.
