This Privacy Policy explains, in simple words, what happens to your information when you use Scam Alert. The short answer is: your reports are shared so they can protect everyone — and nothing else about you is collected.
Scam Alert does not ask for your name, email, phone number or password. There is no account and no sign-up.
When you report a number, that report — the number, the type of scam, the account details you type and any screenshots you attach — is saved in Scam Alert's shared online database and shown to everyone who searches that number. That is the whole point of this website: one person's report protects many people.
A copy of your own reports also stays in your browser (local storage), so your History page works. A report never asks for your name, email or phone number.
Before you attach a screenshot: check it does not show your own private details (your own number, balance or CNIC). Anything in a report screenshot becomes visible to everyone who searches the number.
The History page shows the reports you made on this device. You can delete a report from your device at any time with the 🗑 button on the History page. Note: deleting removes only your device copy — the shared report stays in the database so it keeps protecting others. If one of your reports must be removed from the database, email contact@talhablog.com and we will review it.
This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Your browser's local storage is used only to keep a copy of your own reports for your History page.
Scam Alert links to Talha M Blog (talhablog.com). That website has its own privacy policy, which applies when you visit it.
If a future version of Scam Alert adds a shared reporting system, this policy will be updated first, and the change will be explained here in simple words before it applies.
